
Ent Federal Credit Union selected Pikes Peak Prep as a recipient of its Youth Endowment Services (YES) grants for 2010. Introduced in 2000, the YES program directs specific support to organizations benefiting children and young people in the Pikes Peak Region and in and around Pueblo, Denver and Weld Counties. The program has provided total grants of nearly $475,000 to agencies serving education, health care, and cultural needs, among other services.
Pikes Peak Prep is a non-profit charter school striving to provide its students not only with the tools to go to college, but also the ability to earn college credits while in high school. Through its partnership with Pikes Peak Community College students can earn up to 60 credits before graduation.
